		<description>This is very interesting. It did sound to me like Nunez had produced the choral lines, maybe from initial indications of what was wanted, but with care to leave them precisely as accompaniment, even in the first piece. That doesn&#039;t mean that RW doesn&#039;t read or write music, just that he&#039;s not really able to score a piece for loads of different voices or - probably-instruments. Possibly this points to some of the classes he failed!  I guess he will work in the same collaborative way on the putative opera though if I were him I think I&#039;d want to learn to do more of it myself, in the way I wanted, rather than have people, however skilled, &#039;translate.&#039; Still I guess this is how pop musicians work with producers anyway...

The Petronio piece will presumably be touring with the company  so perhaps Petronio will take a full recording along with them - he&#039;s unlikely to recruit children&#039;s choirs in every city!
