PK called me a musical terrorist the other day for supplying infective songs to unsuspecting listeners. Well, here is another one, “Dominique” sung by Sister Anne and introduced by Ed Sullivan. If you don’t know this song, don’t worry, it will enter your brain and never leave for the rest of your life. Ha ha ha ha ha haaaaa!

The national terrorist warning level is now officially raised to orange (though, maybe it should be white, very white?).
It is refreshing to hear this, not in its original recording (could it be this clip was part of a movie?). Too bad the singing (not flying) nun’s story ended so sadly.
This English version from the 1966 movie about Jeanine Deckers just doesn’t do it for me like the original French song does. And who is this sister Anne anyway? The other nuns looks like rejects from the cast of “The Flying Nun.”
Oh my god! I had no idea what ever happened to her. Thanks for the Wiki link Elaine. What a dramatic and tragic ending.
And yes, this performance is more sugar-coated than the version I remember. Let me know if you find a better performance.
