Back up your documents

My partner, Daniel Shiplacoff, tells all of his friends and clients: BACK UP YOUR COMPUTER! Last weekend, he decided to back up a hard drive, one that he had not backed up for quite some time. It failed the next day. Daniel’s maxim is that ALL HARD DRIVES WILL FAIL, IT’S ONLY A MATTER OF TIME WHEN.
A word to the wise is sufficient.

So so true. Duke, an acquaintance, says hard drives are like Polish* hand grenades—the pin’s been pulled and they are going to explode—you just don’t know when.
* substitute your own favorite clichéd nationality here—this was Duke’s.
