Bourland in ecstacy
Here I am, practicing for my debut as a banjist, er, a banjoist, or a banjo player in the Bay area next week. It’s a secret that the concert will have a piece called “Emily” as an encore. The main attraction of the concert given by the Ives Quartet will feature first string quartets by Mendelssohn, Charles Ives, and ME! At any rate, you’ll notice our faithful dogs Cody and Giaco who LOVE to hear me play music, whether it be banjo or piano. My banjo is called Darth.
