Right: a combo notation AND sequencing AND digital editing program would be fab. I use Logic Pro 7 and love it, but would never touch the music notation page. Why waste the time even learning it? Sibelius is such a great program. I used it today and realized how fortunate I am to have such powerful software, and to think it will only get better.
I also made the switch about three years ago, and never looked back.

Based on the press release, it sounds like there will be some interesting new educational packages as well as enhancements to the notation software.

It would be lovely to be able to synchronize audio within Sibelius, and say goodbye to other sequencing software. Perhaps that will be possible soon.
