I once read that Yeats was a member of Annie Besant's group (2nd generation Theosophists), a group that included Alexander Scriabin as a member, and old William used to cause a ruckus by insisting on having a vision. He was eventually asked to leave the group, which he did. He may have had his own personal vision as manifested by his late work "A Vision."</description>

					<description>Great musings! I know very little about Rosicruscianism but was recently at an amazing exhibition on WB Yeats in Dublin. It had lots of stuff on his interest in the occult including a whole case on his involvement in something called the Golden in which his original study notebooks were on display. There were lots of images like the one above in these notebooks. I was told that all images would go online soon.
