I really liked your review, too, and I agree, Gerry Leonard is amazing(I haven't seen the show live yet, but I've seen and heard webcasts)....And while all the songs you analyzed more deeply are wonderful, Not Ready to Love and Slideshow are the most heartfelt and touching songs...they go straight to the heart.

I'm looking forward to your book!

I enjoyed your review of RTS very much. No one I know can look/listen to music quite like you do— with a composer’s eye and ear.

My only complaint is that my favorite song is relegated to one line in the “other” section. :(

Having heard the album performed live....I can say that he and his band (particularly Gerry Leonard) do a remarkable job of re-creating the “sound” of the studio production. Gerry Leonard is a study all by himself. That “ebow” device he uses with his guitar is nothing short of stunning. Wow.
