Pardon me: I’m having a wave of nostalgia. What a trio!

Was this performance _before_ or _after_ PP&M released the (to my ears) snarky ‘I dig rock & roll music,’ which takes some mean swipes at the Mamas & Papas?
That being said, it was nice to hear Joni & Cass singing together.

This is from 1969 according to the YouTube data, from a Mama Cass TV program. “I Dig…” was from Album 1700, dating from 1967.
FWIW, I never found that tune to be particularly mean towards the Mamas and the Papas. It is far from my favorite song on that album though.

PS: Joni sounds so strange, given that it’s from that period of her life, singing someone else’s music.
