This was sooooo cool when I was in high school. I’m not sure this damaged trailer is rekindling my enthusiasm at this point in my life, but I think I’ll watch it again. In lieu of that, here is the trailer for Frank Zappa’s movie 200 Motels: Life on the Road.

    Excellent. I also went through a 200 Motels phase, and have the soundtrack CD somewhere. It’s worth it for the big final number…

    “Lord, have mercy on the people in England
    For the terrible food these people must eat.”

    …and this line:

    “This town we’re in is just a sealed tuna samwich with the wrapper glued”

    Don’t even get me started on “Billy the Mountain”.
