Dude, I don’t even PLAY tennis and my right elbow is killing me. My doctor said “if it is still a problem after 3 months, come back and I can give you a cortisone shot, but I’d rather not do that. Here are some exercises.” I think I’m bending my elbow all the way when I sleep, which stretches the tendons in the elbow. I also tense up in my right elbow when I compose. And when I write anything with a pencil, or hold a book, or type, or… I’m beginning to think the “tense the elbow command” is on autostart=”true” and I can’t take it anymore! I’m ready to get the shot.
But I interupt my riveting stories about Hawaii and women’s choral music to ask your help. Have you ever had “tennis elbow?'” And if you got over it, how did you do it? I know you are not my doctor, I’m making an appointment later this week, but any, I mean ANY help you can give me will be appreciated. I’m sure it will be of interest to others if posted here, but you may also email me and rogeratbourlanddotyouknowcom.
Hawaii and Leonard Cohen in my head.
