A new compilation of songs by the Clash, the Cure, New Order and others fills out the soundtrack for the movie THE HISTORY BOYS. [Release date 11/21/2006] Oh, did I mention that “other” includes Rufus Wainwright? I guess Rufus hasn’t made it to the A-list in Rhinoland––he hasn’t been around long enough. His contribution to this film is a cover of BEWITCHED (Bothered and Bewildered). Here is the clip Rhino put on it’s website. I like it as long as this doesn’t mean he is slouching toward wrinkle room nostalgia. I await his new album which I assume will be all original material.
