I was amused to see this performance of Frank Zappa conducting Ensemble Moderne in a performance of the end of “THE YELLOW SHARK.” I’m glad they let him conduct even though he is NOT a conductor (what classical conductor would mouth “one two three four” at the beginning? As if they’d need it.) I hear little quotes in it from UNCLE MEAT, and the style is unmistakably Zappa. The dancers are great fun. We miss you Frank!
